September iJug - Better Builds with Maven

Dr Michael Lawler will be presenting this talk explaining the Maven approach to building your projects.

There is no cost for the meeting, but please RSVP to Andrew Zahra by Friday 19th of September for catering purposes as Pizza will be provided.

This month we will be giving away the book “Java Power Tools” and an iJug member suggested book “Java After Hours - 10 Projects You’ll Never Do At Work“. We will also have our usual IntelliJ Idea personal licence and other goodies too!

Maven is a software project management and comprehension tool. Based on the concept of a project object model (POM), Maven can manage a project’s build, reporting and documentation from a central piece of information.
