Aspect Oriented Programming with AspectJ
Aspect-oriented programming (AOP) is a programming paradigm that increases modularity by allowing the separation of cross-cutting concerns. Cross-cutting concerns are such things as logging and database transaction management which usually end up scattered through your code base.

AspectJ enables use of AOP with Java and has facilities to integrate with Java IDEs and command line build environments.

This talk will provide an overview of AOP and in particular how to use AspectJ.
