June Meeting - Grails Web Development

The topic for this meeting on Monday 1st June, 6-8pm will be rapid web development with Grails. Our presenter will be Michael Lawler from Selera. The meeting will be in the Computer Science Tea Room 3.224.

Pizza will be served from 6-6.30pm. It would be very helpful if you could RSVP to Andrew Zahra by Friday 29th May so we can get the catering right.

Michael will be covering:

intro to groovy the language
intro to grails the web app framework and its java technology underpinnings
building a slick user contact database web application from groovy/grails from scratch in 25 mins

As usual there will be lots of goodies to give away too.
